About me

I’m a very enthusiastic teacher, teaching all ages and levels through an individual based method depending on the student’s personality and interests.

I encourage students to discover their instrument through the different paths of sound, posture, intonation and interpretation. I also include music theory in the lessons.

As a teacher, I’m a certified ABRSM and woodwind teacher. Besides this, I teach clarinet, flute and saxophone privately online or from the comfort of your home.

Experience

I have been teaching privately for 20 years. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, I had also been teaching music in a secondary school in London. At the school, I had students playing the clarinet, and flute. I also encouraged and helped my students to form bands.

Teaching Style

Clarinet learning should have more fun with less pressure. With my well rounded musical knowledge and 20 years experience of studying the clarinet, I can lead the students to follow a systematic method with less mechanical and unproductive practice. Music lessons should be enlightening, motivated and have profound effect on student’s music awareness, and there are much more things to learn than the music itself. I am aiming to foster students’ love for music and to help them find a more balanced, enjoyable lifestyle throughout their daily practice.
